This Decree enters into force on 1 May 2011.

Abstract

The purpose of this Decree is to limit the total content of volatile organic compounds in certain paints and varnishes and vehicle refinishing products with a view to preventing or reducing air pollution. The present Decree, which is composed of six articles and four Annexes, establishes: (a) the list of paints, varnishes and products containing organic solvents for refinishing objects (called regulated products); (b) the maximum limit values ??for volatile organic compounds, (c) the way of labeling regulated products; (d) requirements to reduce emissions of volatile organic compounds due to the use of organic solvents in regulated products.
