Abstract This Decree, based on the provisions of the Federal Law on environmental protection, defines the classification of plants or facilities which must have proper environmental permits issued by the Federal Ministry of Environment and Tourism or by the competent cantonal Ministry of the Environment. This text transposes the provisions of the Directive 2010/75/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council on industrial emissions (integrated pollution prevention and control).
