Abstract This Decree of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, which is composed of 22 articles and one Annex, establishes requirements for the use of nitrates from agricultural sources, biogass slurry and other organic fertilizers outside the farm where they were produced. The fertilization with liquid organic fertilizers on agricultural land is prohibited from 15 November to 15 February. The fertilization with manure on arable land is prohibited from 1 December to 15 February. The fertilization with mineral fertilizers containing nitrogen, is prohibited from 15 November 1 March, except fertilization of agricultural crops in greenhouses.
