Abstract

Since the Council Directive 92/118/EG laying down animal health and public health requirements governing trade in and imports into the Community of products not subject to the said requirements laid down in specific community rule referred to in Annex A (I) to Directive 89/662/EC and, as regards pathogens, to Directive 90/425/EC also applies to frog legs and snails and is implemented in the Netherlands by the principal Decree, it is decided to include these products in the application sphere of the principal Decree previously applying only to fish products.
