Abstract This Decision, based on the provisions of the Croatian Law on hunting, establishes the National Commission for Wild Cat Management (Felis silvestris Schr.) for a term of four years. The task of the Commission is to develop and implement the Wild Cat Management Plan and its revisions, the Wild Cat Management Action Plan for each year and to monitor the implementation of planned activities and evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation of such Management Plan. The Commission prepares recommendations, opinions and reports on wild cat management and provides guidelines for the adoption of new or amendments to existing regulations in this area. Professional and administrative tasks for the Commission are performed by the ministry in charge of hunting.
