Abstract This Decision here states that the “Pljuskara canyons" are now declared as protected area in the category of natural monument – paleontological site. Geolocality “Pljuskare canyons” includes the peak of Vidovo brdo (380 m above sea level) and the area south of the mentioned peak, and has 3 prominent canyons and 4 ridges. This geolocality represents the most significant site of fossil sea urchins in northern Croatia from the former Pannonian Sea from dated million years ago. The nature monument “Pljuskara canyon” is managed by the Public Institution for the Management of Protected Nature Areas of the Brod-Posavina County - Natura Slavonica.
