Abstract

This Decision, based on the provisions of the Croatian Water Law (Official Gazette of the Republic of Croatia 153/09, 63/11, 130/11, 56/13 and 14/14), here adopts the multi-year program for the construction of regulatory and protective water structures and structures for land reclamation. The program is part of this publication. Water management in the Republic of Croatia should strive for sustainable protection from floods and other forms of harmful effects of waters, which implies the achievement of economically justified degree of protection of the population, material goods and other endangered values, while encouraging the preservation and improvement of the ecological state of waters and floodplains.
