Abstract

This Decision, based on the provisions of the Croatian Law on nature protection, proclaims the adoption of the Financing Programme for the Natura 2000 ecological network (considered as "Priority Action Framework for the Natura 2000 Network in the Republic of Croatia). The Programme can be found in the Annex that is part of this publication. The Programme is adopted for the multi-year financial period 2021-2027, and contains a comprehensive proposal of strategic priorities and priority measures necessary for the establishment and implementation of the ecological network Natura 2000 and the green infrastructure connected to it, as well as a statement of the needs for financing these priorities and designated measures, as well as a link to the appropriate funds and programs of the European Union for related financing. The Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development is designated as the competent authority for monitoring the implementation of this Programme and for submitting reports to the Government of the Republic of Croatia in 2024 for the period from 2021 to 2023 and in 2028 for the complete implementation period (from the year 2021 until the year 2027).
