Abstract

This Decision of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry contains rules for the monitoring and reporting of occurrence of diseases affecting pigs by inspection veterinarians and slaughterhouses. Meat inspection veterinaries shall report on pleurisy, pneumonia, arthritis, injuries caused by roundworms and abscesses in slaughter pigs. The Decree requires slaughterhouses to register changes in animal health and inspection veterinaries to notify possible breaches of animal protection rules to the county council.
