In particular, the «Bundesnetzagentur» shall conduct auctions in order to determine the amount of funding for electricity generated from renewable energies. The auctions are open to renewable energy installations located in other Member States of the European Union, provided that international agreements have been signed to this effect. Support for installations shall be granted in accordance with the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG).
