Abstract

Slovenia's criminal law is primarily governed by the Criminal Code of Slovenia, replaced the previous criminal code from 1994. The Criminal Code covers a wide range of criminal offences, structured as follows: 1) General provisions; 2) Crimes Against Life and Body; 3) Crimes Against Freedom and Human Rights; 4) Crimes Against Property; 5) Crimes Against Public Order and Security; 6) Crimes Against Sexual Freedom and Integrity; 7) Crimes Against Family and Children; 8) Crimes Against Morality; 9) Economic and Environmental Crimes; 10) Crimes Against Public Health and Safety; 11) Crimes Against State Authority Offences; 12) Crimes Against International Law; 13) Criminal Liability of Legal Persons; 14) Sentencing and Penalties.
