In general, they prohibit the landing of such crawfish but also prohibit an Irish sea-fishing boat to have such crawfish on board if taken in the area specified in these Regulations, i.e. ICES Sub-area VI and Sub-area VII. An Irish sea-fishing boat shall also not be used for the landing or transhipment of such crawfish. Any crawfish to which these Regulations apply taken in the specified area in the course of fishing shall be carefully handled and returned alive to the sea. A person shall not display, sell, offer for sale or store for the purposes of selling any crawfish to which this Order applies taken in the specified area.
