Entry into force notes: This Regulation entered into force on 2 May 2001.

Abstract: Regulation (EC) No. 850/98 is hereby amended. In particular, article 5 (5) shall be deleted. Further, the following articles are hereby substituted: 4(4) (b); 6(1) (a); 7(4); 10; 18(4); 28(1) (a). Amendments are laid down to some Annexes as well. Annex VI, on fixed gears for Regions 1 and 2, shall be replaced by Annex I to this Regulation. Annexes XII and XIII are amended as set out in article 1, paragraphs 12 and 13 respectively.
