Abstract

This Directive lays down animal health conditions governing intra-Community trade in ovine and caprine animals. The definitions laid down in article 2 of Directive 64/432/EEC shall apply, with the addition of those given in article 2 of this Directive. Trade in ovine and caprine animals for slaughter or for breeding and fattening may take place only if they fulfill the conditions prescribed by articles 4, 5 and 6.
