This Directive came into force on 23 February 2002.
Abstract

This Directive consists of five articles. The core is constituted by article 1, which lays down several amendments and addenda to Directive 68/193/EEC in matter of placing on the market of material for the propagation of the vine. Article 2 repeals Directive 74/649/EEC of 9 December 1974 on the marketing of material for the vegetative propagation of the vine produced in third countries.
