Abstract

The present Decision establishes the criteria and procedures to be followed for the acceptance of waste at landfills in accordance with the principles laid down in Directive 1999/31/EC and in particular Annex II thereto. In addition to those criteria and procedures, the Annex attached to this Decision sets out the uniform waste classification. Further, two Appendixes are attached. Appendix A regards safety assessment for acceptance of waste in underground storage. Appendix B contains an overview
