The Act also inserts new provisions on pre-registration contracts (sect. 6A), leadership and management of a society (sect. 18A), records management of a registered societies (Sect. 21A), Audit and Supervision Fund (sect. 49B), special provisions for different types of societies and corporate governance (new Parts VII A and VII B)(this applies also to agricultural production and marketing cooperative societies and consumer cooperative societies), and training (new Part XII).
