The Trust shall be established for the charitable purpose of investigating, identifying, research, analysis, study, classification, recording, integration and preservation of scientific information and traditional knowledge of and practices relating to flora and fauna. The Trust shall supply information to Government departments and agencies upon request. The Trust shall be the successor of the Cook Islands Government's Natural Heritage Project.
