Abstract

These Regulations declare that the Convention on Biological Diversity of 1992 shall form part of the laws of Malta. The Malta Environment and Planning Authority shall be the Competent Authority and shall be responsible for the administration and implementation of the present Regulations. The Minister of the Environment may appoint other bodies or persons as the Competent Authorities for specific provisions and different purposes of the present Regulations.
