Further provisions concern the procedure to be followed for the licensing of pesticides, the examination of the application by the Registrar, the issue of the licence, the advertisement and storage of pesticides. The Director shall nominate "authorized officers" for the purposes of carrying out the following functions: (a) ascertain any contravention to the provisions of the Act; (b) analyse samples of pesticides; (c) do all other acts which are connected with the exercise, performance and discharge of the powers, duties and functions under this Act.
