Abstract

These Regulations give effect to Directive 2003/74 of the European Parliament and of the Council by restricting further the availability and administration of animal remedies containing oestradiol 17 beta and its esther-like derivatives. Such animal remedies may only be administered by a registered veterinary surgeon for the three specific purposes specified at Section 2(d) of these Regulations.
