Its purpose is to ensure that consumers are able to exercise and protect their lawful rights, as well as to protect the collective interests of consumers. The provisions of this Law shall be applied, unless otherwise provided for in the special norms governing consumer rights protection. The provisions of this Law shall not affect contractual relations especially validity of a contract, entering into and consequences, unless otherwise provided for in this Law. The trader or the service provider is entitled to offer such provisions of a contract that ensure higher consumer rights protection than determined in this Law.
