Abstract This Law is enacted with the aims of (i) protection of consumer health, safety and economic interests in accordance with the public interests, (ii) damage compensation, (iii) consumer protection against environmental hazards, (iv) consumer awareness-raising, (v) safeguard consumer rights in accordance with the safety, economic and social needs of the community, and (vi) encouragement of voluntary organization through policies.
