Abstract This Regulation implements section 22 of the Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act and provides for the notice and registration of conservation easements. Under the Act, a conservation easement can be granted by a registered owner of land to a qualified organization, in respect of all or part of the land for, among others purposes, the protection, conservation and enhancement of the environment, including, without limitation, the protection, conservation and enhancement of biological diversity and the protection, conservation and enhancement of natural scenic or esthetic values. The Regulation is completed by a Schedule that contains the forms that are required under this Regulation.
