Abstract

A new subsection (6) is inserted concerning public notice of approval or review of a strategy or a sports fish and game management plan. Section 26ZP (determination of closed seasons for fishing) of the principal Act is amended by omitting from subsection (1) the words "by notice in the Gazette", and substituting the words "by a notice published on at least 2 consecutive Saturdays in 1 or more daily newspapers circulating in the area concerned".
