Abstract The quality standards for onions witloof chicory are set out in Annexes I and II hereto. These standards shall apply at all marketing stages, under the conditions laid down in Regulation (EEC) No. 1035/72, which has been substituted entirely by Council Regulation (EC) No. 2200/96 on the common organization of the market in fruit and vegetables. The Annexes aforesaid lay down detailed provisions as regards quality, sizing, tolerances, presentation and marking.
