Abstract

The present Regulation lays down certain addenda to, firstly, Regulation (EC) No. 1727/1999, concerning the protection of the Community's forests against fires, as regards the competent bodies to be designated by the Member States. Secondly, Regulation (EC) No. 2278/1999, which deals with the protection of the Community’s forests against atmospheric pollution, is supplemented as regards the competent bodies designated by the Member States.
