Abstract

The present Regulation has been adopted to amend Regulation (EC) No. 356/2005, which makes provision on the marking and identification of passive fishing gear and beam trawls. In particular, article 14 concerning intermediary marker buoys is replaced by the text laid down in article 1 hereto. Intermediary marker buoys shall be fixed to passive gear extending more than 5 nautical miles, instead of 1 nautical mile.
