The standards shall apply to courgettes, harvested young and tender, before their seeds have become firm, from varieties grown from Cucurbita pepo L. to be supplied fresh to the consumer, courgettes for industrial processing being excluded. The Annex lays down provisions concerning quality, sizing, tolerances, presentation and marking.
