The Regulation enters into force on 26 February 2014.
Abstract

By virtue of this Regulation, upon assessment of the effects on human and animal health and the environment, the active substance potassium iodide is not approved for use in plant protection products. Subsequently Member States are required to withdraw existing authorizations for plant protection products containing potassium iodide as active substance by 27 August 2014 at the latest.
