This Directive shall enter into force on the third day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union. This Directive should apply from 1 June 2020.
Abstract

In order to protect the Union territory from phytosanitary risks, the relevant regulated non-quarantine pests, the respective plants for planting and thresholds for the presence of regulated non-quarantine pests on the respective plants for planting are listed in Annex IV to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/2072. This Directive amends the related Annexes of the Council Directives 66/401/EEC, 66/402/EEC, 68/193/EEC, 2002/55/EC, 2002/56/EC and 2002/57/EC, Commission Directives 93/49/EEC and 93/61/EEC and Implementing Directives 2014/21/EU and 2014/98/EU to ensure consistency with the respective regulated non-quarantine pests, plants for planting and thresholds as listed in Annex IV to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/2072.
