Abstract

This Decision lays down measures in accordance with the opinion of the Animals in Science Committee to improve transparency and to reduce the administrative burden. To this end, Member States should be required to use the database established by the Commission for the purposes of submitting the information specified in Annex II to this Decision as well as the statistical information on the use of animals in procedures.
