The Decision enters into force on 31 January 2014. It is valid for a period of five years.
Abstract

Upon assessment by the Commission that consignments of biofuels comply with sustainability criteria, the present Decision recognizes the HVO Renewable Diesel Scheme for Verification of Compliance with the RED sustainability criteria for biofuels. Therefore the scheme may be used for demonstrating compliance with article 7c(1) of Directive 98/70/EC and article 18(1) of Directive 2009/28/EC.
