Abstract: Following the outbreak of highly pathogenic avian influenza of subtype H7N7 in the Region Emilia-Romagna, this Decision requires Italy to ensure that the protection, surveillance and further restricted zones established in accordance with article 16(1) and (4) of Directive 2005/94/EC comprise at least the areas listed in Parts A, B and C of the Annex hereto. Furthermore, Italy shall ensure that no consignments of live poultry, ready to-lay-poultry, day-old chicks and hatching eggs are dispatched
