Abstract

This Decision was adopted pursuant to Directive 2010/75/EU, which makes provision on industrial emissions. Article 3, point (27) of that Directive refers to operating hours, which are defined as the time during which a combustion plant, in whole or in part, is operating and discharging emissions into the air, excluding start-up and shut-down periods. This Decision lays down rules concerning the determination of the start-up and shut-down periods above-mentioned.
