The Regulation enters into force on 26 June 2014.
Abstract

This Regulation specifies the conditions under which the term “mountain product” may be applied to products produced by animals in mountain areas. The term may be applied to products made from animals that are reared for at least the last two thirds of their life in those mountain areas, if the products are processed in such areas. Further the Regulation specifies the conditions under which the term “mountain products” may be used for products of beekeeping and products of animal origin.
