Abstract

This Decision sets forth animal health measures to prevent and control the outbreak and spread of classical swine fever in Bulgaria, Germany, France and Slovakia. These measures include: prohibition on the dispatch of live pigs from specified areas; requirements for movements and transit of pigs; prohibition on the dispatch of consignments of porcine semen and ova and embyos of swine; health certification requirements; and hygiene requirements concerning holdings and means of transport.
