Abstract

This Decision lays down particular amendments to Decision 2002/79/EC which establishes special rules governing the importation into the Community of peanuts originating in or consigned from China. As prescribed by article 1 hereto, the competent authorities of each Member State shall undertake at random sampling of the consignments of peanuts and certain products derived from peanuts originating in or consigned from China for analysis of aflatoxin B1 and total aflatoxin. The analytical results shall therefore be submitted to the Commission every three months. Annex II, listing out the only points of entry through which the products in question may be imported, is replaced by the Annex attached to this Decision.
