Abstract

These Regulations place restrictions on the taking of cockles by Irish sea-fishing boats in areas specified in these Regulations. The restrictions concern periods in which fishing is allowed, the amount that may be caught by a boat each day, use of gear and minimum size of cockles. The Regulations also require specified information regarding fishing activities to be recorded.
