Abstract

These Regulations, made under Clean Waters Act 1970 are to be considered as made under the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997 and concern water quality protection. The Regulations provide for the testing of water and wastes (sect. 3) and the classification of waters (Part 3). The Regulations are completed by the following schedules: restricted substances and radioactive substances.
