It allows for extraction and delivery of natural spring water, small scale aquaculture, medicinal and aromatic plant cultivation, and dams and ponds for drinking water purposes and ponds and transmission lines for agricultural irrigation purposes, in qualified protected areas. The protected areas registered as sustainable protection and controlled use areas are defined as areas where natural and culturally compatible low-intensity activities, coastal structures, integrated agriculture and livestock activities, waste transfer centers, tourism and settlements are allowed.
