Abstract

This ordinance applies to the placing on the market of certain dangerous substances and mixtures as well as certain products that can release or contain them, according to the Chemicals Act. It regulates the protection of people and the environment from material-related damage. In particular, the Ordinance lays down provisions concerning bans, restrictive measures relating to the placing on the market of hazardous substances, preparations and products. The text consists of 14 articles divided into 4 Parts as follows: Sphere of application, definition of terms (1); Prohibitions and bans (2); Provisions on marketing (3); Final provisions (4). Two Annexes are enclosed.
