Abstract This Act, consisting of 38 sections and one Schedule, aims to reform the local government of the Chatham Islands by establishing a Chatham Islands Council with appropriate functions, duties, and powers: (b) to dissolve the Chatham Islands County Council: (c) to make provision incidental to the establishment of the Chatham Islands Council and the dissolution of the Chatham Islands County Council.
