Abstract

The present Regulations are made under the Canada Shipping Act and the Arctic Water Pollution Prevention Act. These Regulations apply to Canadian ships in all waters and to all ships in waters under Canadian jurisdiction. Section 3 establishes that no ship of any class shall navigate in any shipping safety control zone prescribed under sub-section 11(1) of the Arctic Waters Pollution Prevention Act unless the ship complies with these Regulations. The text consists of 14 sections and 1 Schedule.
