Abstract

These Regulations amend the Cattle Identification (Scotland) Regulations 2007 by creating and clarifying offences regarding: notification by keepers; compliance with a notice served under the principal Regulations regarding restriction of movements or slaughter of animals without identification; replacement cattle passports; and alteration and misuse of movement cards and movement documents. In addition, they amend Schedule 2 to the principal Regulations concerning the notification of movement to clarify the time limit for notification of movement on to holdings.
