Abstract

The present Law implements the Federal Power Supply Act of 23 March 2007 and establishes the cantonal objectives, responsibilities and tools in the field of electricity supply. Article 2 rules that the Canton and the municipalities shall support within their possibilities a safe, economic and sustainable electricity supply of the Canton. The text consists of 14 articles and 5 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Network areas, network operations (II); Electrical connections (III); Network tariffs, power purchase and production, concession fees (IV); Final provisions (V).
