The present Ordinance enters into force on 1 June 2010.
Abstract

The present Ordinance implements the Federal Animal Protection Act of 16 December 2005. Article 1 lists the cantonal bodies responsible for the execution of the aforementioned Federal Act. The text consists of 23 articles divided into 4 Parts as follows: Organs and their functions (I); Reports and livestock inspection (II); Duty of co-operation and fees (III); Final provisions (IV).
