The Regulation must apply to the following types of medical exposure the exposure of persons that is related to the diagnosis or treatment of a disease, or health surveillance; the exposure of employees in mandatory health surveillance and examination of employees; the exposure of such individual who voluntarily participates in medical or biomedical, diagnostic or therapeutic, research programme; the exposure of individuals as part of a medico-legal intervention; and exposure of the voluntary assistant.
