The Regulation applies to keepers of laying hens who have more than 350 hens, except keepers of breeding laying hens. It further lays down requirements for keeping of laying hens; requirements for holdings of laying hens and general requirements for cages; requirements for keeping laying hens in deep litter; and requirements for keeping of laying hens in unenriched cages.
