A person who wishes to set fire to any land shall inform the police. The Superintendent of Police shall inspect the land and if he deems the land to be fit, he shall issue a license to set he land on fire on such conditions as he may impose. The Superintendent may restrict the setting on fore of Crown Lands in accordance with section 8. Sections 9 and 10 deal with extinction of fires. The remaining provisions deal with prosecution of offences. (14 sections) Full text English
